Hi, I have a low comp 4A-GE in my MR2. When I did a rebuild I got the machine shop to shave 10 thou off the cylinder head to bump the compression. Once I had the motor back together and running I found that I had a much better idle at 12 deg BTDC than at the standard 10 deg BTDC. What's up with that?
