I think progress has been made! I drove it to work today, only about 20 miles round trip, it ran GREAT! Didnt set off any codes. Not one hiccup! Ok well it did hiccup but it was my fault for not having the battery terminal clamped tight, wouldnt start after work.
I think that it was the crank position sensor. Im thinking that the ECU was relearning with the new CPS and getting all the unburnt gas out of the cat. If thats not what it was then it just needed the engine and bay pressure washed with a car wash. But then again the problem may return!
