Well, according to the dealer, ALL of the 2007 Camry's they tested (without auto hvac) had the same issue, and supposedly they check quite a few of 'em.

I'm paraphrasing, but they told me that the design of the venting caused the passenger side to get most of the hot air.

He agreed that it was a design flaw and that I should contact Toyota to have it fixed in future models. However, ain't nothin' gonna make mine work any better (and by "any better" I mean properly).
