Hey All:

I heard back this weekend that it's smart to replace the inner seals when you do this job.

My former mechanic who did the job last time said that you can use a hammer and a chisel to loosen the locknuts, or you can order a special tool for the job.

Were you guys able to use just a regular 52mm socket or did you need something special?

He also emphasized that the inner locknut would set the bearing preload and should be set about hand tight.

Any other advice? I'll be ordering a set of inner seals and then will give it a shot.
