I'm contemplating the upgrades I'll be making this spring, and was glad to hear that the K&N Cold Air Intake was pointless on this engine, but I came across this:

Does anyone know if this is worthwhile, or just another fun thing to do that'll use my time and money without doing anything appreciable?
I hear that the
deckplate mod is worthwhile - easy, cheap, pretty much right up my alley. Anyone have a yea or nay to say about it? I do almost all of my drivin' city, so heavy dust and offroad is expected to be less than 5% of my miles.
Other suggestions for middlin' simple, useful mods to improve ponies or MPG are entirely welcome, of course.
