Gen 5 Transmission Jerks
I tried searching within the Camry Forum specifically, but I didn't get any results.
I have a question to owners of V6 Gen 5 Camry's with the 5-speed automatic, does your transmission jerk a little bit when you're braking and before the car comes to a stop you apply the gas again?
I've experienced the problems a few times at stop signs and stop lights when I would brake or slow down from 25-30 miles to about 5-10 miles and then accelerate again. There is a slight jerk right after applying the gas again. I didn't notice the jerking on a full stop. Our Chevy does this, but our Mazda doesn't. Is there a cause for concern and have the dealer look at it, or it's normal?
I have an '04 V6 SE with the 3MZ. I'm not sure if the 1MZ experiences the jerking with 5-speed auto. Over at clublexus.com, RX330 owners mention their SUVs have an indecisive transmission, which may or may not be corrected with the ECM update for the RX. I know RX and '04 V6 SE share the same engine, but not sure about the tranny.
Thanks for your inputs.
