Good find!
Trim and panels are nearly impossible find outside of rare example sin junk yards.
Mechanical bits are no problem to fix, replace or upgrade.

Nov 1979 wagon means it is a MX36L-WHNEA with a 4M-E EFI engine.
Or possibly Nov 1979 was only the first registration date rather than the build date, in which case it will be a MX36L-WHNEA with a 4M carburettor engine.

The bad engine can easily be replaced with any of the later twincam engines such as the 5M-GE, 7M-GE or turbo 7M-GTE, although all will require corresponding EFI computers and the turbo will require more work.
The various 1JZ and 2JZ engines and the Lexus 1UZ V8 can also be fitted with a bit more custom work.
