Trying to fit 33" tires

I'm ready to lift and gear my 88' 4runner. I would like to put 33" tires underneath...I don't really want to invest long travel money. So...are lift spindles and taller springs the best option?

Lift spindles are a 2WD thing, none available for a t-bar 4WD front suspension that I've ever heard of.

You will need a body and most likley a suspension lift.

I have an 88 as well. Even though I put a 3" body and a 2.5" suspension lift(in the form of new torsion bars and new leafs for the rear) on it, I'm still getting some inner front fender rub using my 34" Mickey Thompsons.

I'm going to pick up some thin wheel spacers and see if that does the trick.

I also have an 88 4runner that i run 33's on. I lifted it with a 4" Trailmaster lift with 2" shackles in the rear. It clears no problem. Hope this was helpful.
