rebuild?

Hey guys and gals. Sorry in advance for the long first post.

I recently got hit by an idiot and his insurance company gave me $1500 for a little body damage, but I want to put it back into the motor, not the body.

It's an '88, 22RE, 225K stock. I replaced the timing chain last year, and there is a small leak from a botched seal job somewhere. Otherwise the motor, paint, and body (aside form the recent incident), are in great condition and well maintained.

I would like to do a rebuild and get another 100K at least, I love this truck.

ENGNBLDR.com has some real nice packages for rebuild kits and want some info on what to replace and/or possiby upgrade.

After recently talking to a mechanic, he said that $300 is VERY cheap for a rebuild. Anyone tried parts from ENGNBLDR.com?
