Gen1 88 4Runner

I have an 88 4Runner and here lately while driving at nite with the lights on it seams like my lights have a mind of their own and just cut off. That aint no fun while going around a corner at 45 on a dark road. Anyone have any ideas of what I can check and possibly resolve this problem before I end up totalling out my ride ???

When it happens, jiggle the switch stalk a bit and see if that has any effect.

Sounds like your going to have to start tracing wires. Seems like there is a short somewhere. Or like mentioned above it is a faulty switch.
