Question 4Runner leaf spring question

I have an '89 22RE 4Runner that appears to be "squatting" in the rear end. What I mean by this is the clearance between the tire and fender well is considerably less for the back (maybe 3-3.5") when compared to the front (maybe 6-8"). The truck has been well taken care of and is totally stock, just like it came from factory. Is there any shackles or leaf springs that I can purchase to "level" it out or make it "appear" to be more level? Another consideration is I would like to "level" it out while also keeping the same ride as it had with factory components on it (if possible). If you have a suggestion, please provide product name and website or company name so I can contact to research and possibly purchase.

Any and all advice is very much appreciated, thanks!!

Andy S.

The front fenders are cut much higher in the body than the rears on that body style. They were never the same gap. That doesn't mean your springs haven't sagged, but the measurement means nothing. You can add a leaf or a block to the rear to raise it.

Typical 4Runner butt sag.
New spring packs would be the best solution.
Some alternate solutions would be Add-A-Leafs, blocks, or longer shackles.

i put some over load springs in my '89 from an old pick up i found, works great no more sag, just a bit rough but the right shocks would take care of it.
