My grandparents have this mid '90's Camry sitting around in their yard. Problem is it was low on oil pressure and my cousin took it for a joy ride to about 120 mph. Now the Motor's gone sky high. They'll sell it to me for around $800 and I would just need to get an engine swap (yes, it's that bad). I thought this would be the perfect time to see if any descent performance engines can be swapped in with a manual tranny and possible LSD. I'm thinking if i buy it, i would use it as a mileage beater to and from work. Any thoughts on what would fit in that car without alot of fabrication? I was thinking of a used Celica All Trac (turbo 2.0 litre) or even a v6 camry engine (the old motor is a inline 4 i'm pretty sure). You guys have any suggestions to make a mean sleeper without too much work? Thanks
