2nd Generation 94' SWAPPING out from 3.0 V6 to 350 chevy. help?

Hello all. My name is Donny and i recently bought my first 4Runner. Its a 94' 3.0 V6. All stock except for the Black Toyota wheels and the 31'' muds i put on it. I have big plans for it but even less money. haha. First things first. Im going to be swapping out my 3.0 V6 to a carbed chevy small block 350. My tranny is the stock automatic 4 spd. Will the 350 mount right up to the tranny? But i also have a chevy TH400 thats paired with that engine already. should i use my stock transmission in the toyota or the 400? Ive heard swapping to the chevy would be more complicated. Would anyone suggest anything? (besides turning me away from doing the swap all together.. haha) None of my friends are giving me straight suggestions so i figured this would be the place to check it out.

My plans after the engine in the near future is to straight axel the front, put in drilled and slotted brake rotors with ceramic pads, install a brush guard along with the 2 hella 500's i have, and get new springs for my rear since im saggin a few inches in the back. But im not stoppin there!

Before you do your swap you might want to do a little research.
AdvanceAdapters is good place to start.

Your stock trans isn't going to bolt-up to a GM engine.
A TH-350 or 700R4, mated to a to a 4 cyl Toyota t-case via an adapter, would work good.
