What grade oil for breaking in new 22R

G'Day,
I pick up my '90 RN130 4runner tomorrow with its newly installed reconditioned 22R engine .... (big end bearing went last week).
I was told that I should change the oil at 1,000Km or so...Does anyone have any additional tips on how to 'break in' my engine, and is their a specific viscosity oil I need to use?
I was using 20W50 before, and 15W40 at the last oil change before the big end bearing went chabsang.
Cheers
Sid

if i were you I would contact toyota and ask. it is very important. Where did you get your motor. I just did a engine swap in mine but the company gave me a checklist and what kind of oil. It says that it would void my warranty so yeah. Let me know if you have any more questions.
