Transmission leak(baddd)

ok so i just did an engine swap. on the bottom of my tranny there is a little slit. Which is how it is supposed to be. When i run the car it drips out of tht slit. Heres the really bad part. when i shut the car off it just spits out tons of tranny fluid out of it. I dont know what the hell is going on. Please help.

It would help to know what transmission you have, auto or manual? If manual, which one?
