Should i buy a toyota 4runner with 269,000 miles for $1700?

3.0L sounds really good
it has a new exaust
body is absalutly mint
90% tred on 4 31" tires
it was a trade at a dealer and they said the guy was very maticulis with repairs and maitince
he had a bunch of recipts in glove box latest(last 6 months) where for the exsoust,battery,front end parts for around $1000
What could i get if i had to part it out?
How much to rebuild the engine/trans?

No matter how well it was maintained, 269K is still a lot of miles, and things will be wearing out, which is why the PO just put $1000 in to it.
You could easily spend $2K on installing a rebuilt engine, and close to that on a trans.
