My 4Runner was murdered today :(

So, I get a call at work, wife's attached to a back board, she's being rushed to the hospital.

She was hit in the rear by a Buick Regal, which then pushed her into a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Police estimate impact speed to be 50-55mph with NO skid marks. Roads were dry, weather clear.
For some reason, the police didn't cite anyone. Utah is a no fault state anyway. So here we go with the insurance companies. According to the police, the Buick went underneath the 4Runner. The Buick is totaled. I would imagine the 4Runner is as well. Oh well, I wanted a newer one anyways.
Grr

Here's the truck at impound.

X rays came back no fractures, but they can't determine tissue damage. I'll be taking her to the physician tomorrow. She's pretty sore, but we'll know more tomorrow.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it'll be totaled.

oh man,

i am so sorry! that looks terrible! I can't believe they didn't cite anyone! wow honestly for 50mph that looks like relatively no damage.

doesn't even looked like it cracked the radiator! jeeze.

hope they don't total it but they probably will...

So it's been totaled. I'll miss the tank, but the new 4Runner will be home tomorrow. Found a really nice 2000 V6 manual, nicely equipped for 6800
