speaker size

Hey all. I recently purchased a 1994 toyota 4runner and the speakers are blown. They are the stock speakers from what I have been told. I need to know the speaker size(s). The speakers are located in the dash and in the trunk on the sides just over the wheelwell. From what I have read, standard sizes are 4" and 5 1/4" but I'm just wanting to confirm this before I buy speakers. Thanks all for the support!

For the rear two, over the wheel wells I actually used the bigger 'egg-shaped' speakers. I forget what size they are, but with a bit of tweaking they fit great!

As for the front two, those are small. I managed to fit some 5'1/4 but I seriously had to cut up that black speaker box on the drivers side. If you don't have a dremel I suggest pulling the existing then measure them before buying. Otherwise you might be stuck trying to fit the wrong size in.

thanks for the quick response. I wasn't specific i guess. standard sizes from what I have read online and in the manuals are 4" in the front and 5 1/4" in the rear. I am merely looking for confirmation on my 4runner BEFORE i purchase speakers. thanks for the help!!!

The fronts are 4" and the rears are 51/4" make sure you buy shallow mount other wise you'll have a hellnof a time fitting them. I went with JL audio and they sound awesome.
