USA Suspension upgrades

i have a 90' 4runner rockin 33" tires with no lift. they ride pretty well and don't give me too many problems with rubbing, but it does happen. i wanted to put a couple inches under her to alieviate this occation as well as improve the look. this vehicle is no longer a daily driver and i dont really care about gas mileage. what i do care about is cost. i have looked at all the major lift companies and i dont know if i can spend that much. i thought about putting spring spacers on top of the srings in the back but i still need something in the front. i dont want too much angle on that crap ifs i have to replace components enough as it is.

any thoughts?

How about some 1.5" BJ spacers for the front, spacers or taller coils (better) for the back, and maybe 1-2" body lift?
That should get you quite a bit more room for the 33's.

i thought about that body lift and i still might do it but my truck still looks really good and i don't particularly like the way a body lift looks, but if i only put a couple inches it might not be that bad

I know what you mean, but a 1-2" BL doesn't scream Body Lift the way a 3" one does (IMO) and is much easier to install.
I put a 2" BL on my 84 so I could lift the complete drivetrain and the fuel tank up.
The 83 has a 2" to make the V6/TH-350 trans swap fit better.
