manually lowering rear window

Hello there, my rear window motor is bad,and my turn signal went out. I'm trying to lower the window manually so I can open the door to get to my tailights. Any thoughts? thanks

chucke55,

You may want to pull the panel off of the door from the inside to access the motor to disconnect it from the window to let it down. You may want to tape the window so it won't fall down while you disconnect it.

Might well be that the motor is good. I'd try pulling the interior panel from the inside enough to get to the wiring and jump it. Worth a shot.
