Have done the Google thing no one has the same answer, whom do I believe ?
Sorry about asking for a good video guess I missed the part about those rules, I don't understand how that is copy righted, but my bad, I guess if some one can draw me a sketch on what they know on how to adjust the TPS on a 1993 Toyota 4 runner 3.0 v6 Efi. Do I check the OHMs with the bat disconnected or not have seen both also what gap do I need to do the test have seen 3 different answers one is the book by Haynes, what is the OHM range I'm looking for to be factory close I know I test the leads IDL and E2. Do I need to jump any thing in the Diagnostic box while I do this?
To measure the resistance (ohms) you must disconnect the connector to the TPS.
Looking at the connector end of the TPS (with the vacuum throttle opener on top), the terminals are
E2
IDL
VTA
VC
VC to E2 should be 3900-9000 ohms regardless of throttle position,
The other measurements are made at specific throttle opening positions.
YES, like I said before I have searched for vids and did the google thing, I found 1 that was good, but didn't get a chance to book mark it and now I can't find the 1 good vid I had found, tried the searches ALL over again and guess what I can't find, yep that 1 dang video. That is when I asked my first question here. Hoping maybe someone here knew of the vid or better yet some one whom has worked on a 3.0 v6 in my gen class. thats why I've posted the Q.
