new '93 4runner owner *Needs help*

Bought a '93 4 runner V6 about 3 months ago.
Anybody using a laptop to capture engine data? If so, where can I
get one.

Also looking to do plugs , cap/rotor and wires. What are good ones?
I have found NGK's to be good in my turbo vehicle, and have heard
some of the 4runners with the superchargers using them. Just need
some good ones for a tuneup for now.
Not sure about what is involved with putting a supercharger on, so if anyone
has any links to any information, I'd appreciate it.

I do have a strange clunking noise coming from the pass. side front tire area, when I push in the clutch and am slowly coming to a stop. It is a single clunk. Also, not sure if its related, but when I turn the wheel hard to one side I get a grinding noise.
