Question Parking lights

I'm new, and a new 4runner owner. Just bought a 2001 SR5 about a week ago. I love it and have only found two things that need to be fixed. Let it be known, I don't know much about cars, so don't judge me too much... So, the parking lights and turn signals in the front are not working. Pretty much the only thing I know how to do is to look at the fuses. Can anyone tell me which one to try? The only one I thought had any relevance was the turn signal/emergency fuse.

There are 2 fuses for this system. You have a 10a turn fuse, and a 15a horn/hazerd fuse. Have you checked to see if the hazerd switch works and makes the lights flash? There is also a relay that controls the flashing of the blinkers, it could be bad. Just a few simple things to try first. I can't believe that all the blinker bulbs would be burned out, but I'm sure that could be possible.

Hazards work, and the blinkers in front work on the bottom, by the fog lights, its just the ones by the head lights (corner lights) that do not work.

a.b.ham,

To activate those lights you need to have the engine running and release the parking brake. Once the lights are on you can re-apply the parking brake and check to see if your lights of concern are on. If not, there is a running light relay that might be at fault. But before you go to that, make sure those bulbs are good.
