2001 4runner P1138

I have an OBDII Scanner and picked up a P1138, my manual says, unknown.

Cleared it but came back.

Been researching but can not find 1138 but see reference to 1135.

Anybody has seen this?

Thanks.

Mandyfig,

That code appears to be a Nissan code.

Mandyfig,

The A/F sensor is located just foreward of the catlytic converter on the exhuast pipe. That would be the one to replace. It must has a short or an open circuit in it. If that does not fix it then you might have a wiring issue or possibly a bad ECU. That would be worst case cenerio, the ECU being bad.
