4WD Indicator light not coming on

Ok folks

2000 4 Runner SR5 4wd Auto, the 4wd light doesn't come on when its engaged even thou the 4wd system is working.
I checked the light bulb and its not burnt.
So i have 2 options, either the front diff switch or transfer case switch.
Any ideas or inputs?

I would say the switch on the transfer case.

It's easy to check, just disconnect the the wire from the front axle switch and put a jumper across the terminals.
If it lights it's that switch. And it's more likely for that switch to fail and 4wd still work.
