knocking noise in Right Rear

I have a 2000 Sport with 100k. I just noticed a loud knocking noising when I go over bumps coming from the right rear wheel. I assume it may be a bad shock (they have never been replaced). When I push up and down on the back end I can hear the knocking too. I am going to take it to the dealer. I thought it might be a good idea to check here first. I did not see anything in the "search". Any eperience with this from anyone?

I was going to suggest the shocks as well. Maybe take a look at the springs too.

If you have a rear sway bar, check the mounting bushings and the sway bar link bushings. Also shock mount bushings.
