help finding parts/tips to fix parts i already have

I need a few small things for my new RUNNER!
1. The passenger window switch on the driver side only rolls down the window doesn’t roll it up; I think I need a new switch I found lots of them on eBay just want to know if I can get one switch or if I need the whole unit?
2. The tailgate won’t open normally I have to push the bottom of the door really hard to open it. I think I need a new latch I already WD-40'd the crap out of the latch and it did nothing. I’m having a difficult time finding a latch could somebody give any ideas where I might be able to.
3. I also need an AC switch for the air conditioning it is always on so the AC pump is always running, can I get just the switch? Or do I need the unit?
THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYBODY WHO FEELS LIKE HELPING ME!

1. Does the window work in both directions using the pass side switch?

3. Switches don't usually fail in the ON position, but you could try this to find out
a. disassemble the panel to access the switch
b. disconnect the electrical connector on the back of the switch

If the AC goes OFF then the switch is shorted in the ON position.
If the AC remains ON the problem is elsewhere.
Plus, if it is the switch, you are halfway done replacing it.

Also, does the AC shut off if the Fan switch is placed in the OFF position?

I’ve found out now that the AC is only stuck on when I have the defrost on other than that i can freely turn it on and off... is that normal? (Keep in mind that I’ve only had my runner for 3 days so I still haven’t figured everything out)

THIS IS PROBABLY A VERY STUPID QUESTION BUT I NEED HELP there’s rubber boots on a bar on the front end of my runner it’s NOT the CV boots it’s on a solid bar behind the transfer case there’s lines that run into the bar maybe from the power steering pump any way there are rubber boots on each end that are torn and very slowly leak oil when I turn what are they called so I can buy new and replace? IF ANYBODY ACUALLY RESPONDS THANKS!

I think you are talking about the steering rack but it's way in front of the transfer case...? You probably mean the front diff. The rubber boots are called Bellows I believe. It's common to have a little leak inside there on these old trucks but really it should not be leaking much if at all. Could be your rack is worn out.
