Freeway Shaking

I have a 2000 sport with 100k. I have noticed a shaking that is getting worse between 60mph and 70mph. The steering wheel shakes from side to side and I feel it in the body of the car too. I have new tires, Alignment, rear shocks and rotors and pads. Any thoughts? I have been told the tires are balanced. I am wondering if it front shocks would help?

How many miles have the shocks been on the truck? If not for long then tire balancing may be in order.

I'm just a long time driver but it's my experience that MOST of the time a vibration which only occurs over the same 10 MPH range is a tire balance issue. The tires can be balanced and one good pothole can undo it. Occasionally a shop or a tech just can't seem to get a good balance done. Sometimes there's internal tire damage. None of this rules out a serious mechanical problem. But MOST of the time, balancing is the answer. A somewhat quick check is moving tires front to rear. IF this solves the problem you know it's a tire/wheel problem. Just my 2 cents and watch it be a bad wheel bearing or something.

The front shocks are original (old). I am going to have the tires rebalanced again.
