Strange clunking/popping noise

I drove on a very rocky road last week, with huge rocks that were tough to avoid. I don't think I avoided all of them. Anyway, when I got off the road, I had a strange clunking/popping noise that would occur when I was in motion and seemed to be most pronounced when I would hit small divots or bumps in the road. I took it to my mechanic yesterday and they said it was the sway bar connectors or something like that and replaced them. However, as I drove it home, I still had the same noises going on. Any thoughts on what might be causing it?

Could be swaybar bushings, swaybar link bushings, or even shock bushings.

Yeah, I said sway bar connectors, but I meant to say bushings. That's what they replaced, but still I have the noise. Maybe it's the shock bushings.
