Power Antenna for '02

Evening all ..... after 9 + years my power antenna no longer goes up and down. The motor works but if these things work like the one in my 1987 Oldsmobile did, the nylon cable probably broke...... Question now is .. is there an easy way to turn OFF the power to the antenna motor (i.e fuse, cut a wire, disconnect a wire etc) without having to take the wheel well out and snipe the wires right at the motor?

Thanks in advance

Haven't done it myself so not 100% sure but I think it's a solid blue wire that supplies the power to the antenna from the radio so if you pull the HU the wire should be in the loom in the back of it.

I've been wanting to splice in and put a switch in so I can make it go up or down when I want. Some things I never get around to...

I didn't see a solid blue wire coming out of the wiring harness from the radio (at least not from the floor well up and behind the radio .... I did my best to remove (actually push to the side) the wheel liner (after removing the front wheel and I found the power wire with in line connector. I managed to separate the connector and now no up/down power to the antenna ..... so problem solved until I want to spend some $$ to fix the antenna .....
