Off-Road Tires

I'm looking for a set of tires that rock for off road it would be best if they weren’t absolutely atrocious on road but the tires I have now I’m always spinning and can’t stop on ice at all there some kind of a sears only Michelin. I was thinking some coopers maybe like the A/T3 or something around the same price range any suggestions?

^^ that's funny!

I don't know if any tire will help much on ice. Sounds like you need a severe snow rated tire. I think Good year Duratracs are severe rated but not sure you want that aggressive a tire...?

My two favorite off road tires:

Toyo Open Country MT - best on snow/ice and quiet but expensive and heavy
BFG KM2 MT - Exceptional off road. Good on road. I've had 3 sets of these.

HA! Sometimes these threads get lost.

I very much like the BFG AT. I've run them on trucks and Jeeps with great success. The MTs are beefier and more off road capable but they do get noisy with the big block tread design.

The new KM2s are not much different in noise from the ATs. There are only certain speeds that I can hear them. They have certainly come a long ways.
