tercel engine swap HELLLLPPPP!!
I have a 1992 tercel with a totally shot engine, not even rebuildable. got drove by the owner for 60 miles with no oil in it... ( how did he make it 60 miles, what ever)
I have a 1992 corolla engine auto trans mounted to a 4afe 1.6ltr four. the tercel is a 3e-e with an automatic.
questions:
1. do anybody have a 3e-e laying around they want to donate or sell??
2. if not will my 4afe fit with or without the tranny?
2a. do i need the corolla fuel injection?
2b. or will the tercel injection mount to the 4afe?
i do not have the wiring or anyother stuff from the corolla. so i need advise here. remember this is a serious budget job, full time college students trying to save a good ole workhorse.
