2008 spark plugs

The manual states to use iridium plugs. Has anyone used any other plugs like the basic copper ones or just stick with iridiums? Thanks

Just stick with what the manual says. Iridium plugs will last longer that standard copper plugs anyway.

Don't mess around with the plugs! If it says use iridium plugs in your manual then that is what to use. Don't second guess what will work. Plugs on the Toyota's are tempermental. Also don't let the parts guy try to do the old cross reference trick. Your manual gives you a specific number and no other will work. If he/she does not have the right plug then go somewhere else. Get only Denso or NGK. Hope this helps.
