V8 Exhaust Manifold Cracking
I'm finding myself perplexed with Toyota. I decided to buy a 05 Toyota 4 Runner brand new, being fed up with American quality, nickel and diming me. It has about 75k miles on it. I've made sure the maintanence is done.
I heard some exhaust leaking after a couple of years of having it, but thought that the manifold just needed to heat up....and it seemed to go away. Recently, I took my 4Runner to the dealer and they informed me that both my exhaust manifolds we cracked and needed to be repaired (they said they take them off and weld them).
I'm sure I'm not the only 4.7 V8 that is having this problem. Can someone direct me to where Toyota is helping it's customers with the costs of these repairs?
