Hello 4Runner guys!

Looking for some advice, free I hope...

My wife is now driving a 2004 Highlander but since we are going to get into the RVing scene I'm looking to trade for a 4Runner. My trailer weight fully loaded will be in the 4,000 pound range.

We hope to travel several weeks a year in all directions visiting this beautiful country of ours. So...

I need some answers as I compare the V6 with the V8. Will the V6 do well as a TV for my size trailer? I know this has been answered several times but what about the difference in MPG as an everyday driver? Any other things I should look for?

Just need a little help deciding...the last 4Runner I had was a 2002 model but that had the less powerful V6. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I think you would be happier with the V8. As it has more torque for towing than the V6.
