Post Video on Nav Mod

New mod completed...Video on Navigation!

A three position switch is used to choose between;

1) Anytime Reverse Backup Camera. Notice I am in Park.

2) Video Source A

3) Video Source B

Up Close.

Any questions, let me know.

Nice work! Alittle off topic but how do you like the factory nav? I want to upgrade my 4runner and im not sure if i should go the factory route or get an aftermarket system. BTW, love your website!! I have it in my favorites and refer to it often for 4runner history or to just get ideas.

I do like it alot and would get the factory option again if ordering another new Toyota. While expensive, it looks factory, has integrated steering wheel controls, bluetooth, 4 cd changer, subwoofer, MP3/WMA, backup camera, etc. With the override and video mods I have done it is great. The route feature works well for me and overall the system is not laggy as some report.

Things I would like to see are a slightly larger screen and USB input. Ideally two more (6 rather than 4) CD capability and Google maps would make it perfect.

Cool, I sometimes see them for sale on ebay or the forum classifieds, maybe I'll finally pull the trigger on one.
