V6 Spark Plug Change

Does anyone know of any issues of changing out the standard tipped NGK plugs with the iridium on the V6 the V6 engine. Vehicle has about 100,000 miles on it. I've been using the standard plugs, but with the 30k intervals I would rather put in the iridiums and not have to deal with for a while.

Please let me know your thoughts. I was planning on doing this before a road trip for Christmas...thanks in advance for your comments.

i don't know but i like having to change the plugs at a regular interval. Keeps them from getting stuck in there. With the 4.0 that is what a 20 minute job?

Using a little anti sieze will keep them from getting stuck. I would use what the book calls for. If it gives you a reference for the Iridium tip plugs then use them, but if it does not then I would stay away from them. As you know Toyota'a are tempermental with spark plugs. The last thing you want to do is spend $10 plus bucks on each plug and have an issue with missing after istallation. I'm a firm believer that if it is stock keep it stock. Just an opinion.
