Yesterday was a sad day for me.... I sold my 2006 Tacoma to get more protective cabin space for the growing family. At least I can rest assured that the Tacoma is in good hands as it was sold to a friend of mine. My replacement vehicle is a 2010 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4. The negotiated price was $34605 and my final out the door price (with down payment) was $33271.

I've always wanted the 4Runner since it came out back in 1985, just took me 15 years to finally get one. Will post pictures as soon as I can....too dark outside.

I'm loving the comfort, extra room, convenience features, etc. I've had 3 Tacoma's, and this is my first SUV. Very happy with the move so far. CO congrats to you and let's see your new toy!

4runners came out in 84. Just a fyi Let us know how you like the 4runner.

Got my first one in '85 (SR-5 black beauty), second in '91 (4 door, growing family), third in 2008 (an '84 SR-5, now 22 RET turbo), parts truck in 2009 ('87 DLX), 2008 ('90 SR-5 2 door coupe')...so I guess I've owned 5 4Runner's, plus a '85 2wd parts truck (where the 22 RET was extracted from).

Glad you were finally able to get one! You just plan on keeping it stock or doing some mods?
