sync problems

Hey all,
My old phone worked great with the sync on my sr5 but I just got a Droid x and cant get get it to sync phone calls. When I paired it and tried to make phone calls it says no audio. It will stream pandora through the car but when I try calling the phone it wont go through the car. I've tried a number of things including: reseting the Pin; repairing the phone; and pairing my friends iphone and every time we can only stream pandora through the bluetooth and not phone calls. Does anyone know what Im doing wrong? Thanks

i had a similar issue with my blackberry torch. had to reset the car blue tooth setting back to the factory defaults which will erase all phone data. I paired the phone again making sure to use the internal audio set up. if you pick the audio only set up, your phone will not be recognized by the car blue tooth. At least that is was it was for me

Droids are known to be a major PITA to pair to any Toyota bluetooth system. I pair phones on a daily basis, and I have always had the most problems with Droids. I have about a 15-20% success rate in getting them paired up....

Also, with setting it up with audio and the phone, there are a few phones that will cancel out the phone when using the bluetooth streaming audio. I recommend hooking it up through the USB port if you're going to listen to music.
