2011 4Runner Pricing

I recently totaled my beloved tacoma and my wife really wants me to get a new 4runner (kids coming soon). I got some pricing from the dealer, but there's not a lot places where I can compare the pricing. I don't want to offend anyone, but do you mind telling me how much you paid for your 2010 or 2011 4runner? Below is the pricing I received from the dealership:

2011 4Runner SR5
Convenience Package (moonroof, power outlets)
Premium Package (leather, power seats, sound, etc.)
Cargo cover & net
Exhaust Tip
Hitch
Carpet Mats
$33,170 = $35,591 OTD

2011 4Runner SR5
Sound package
Convience Package
Sport fabric seats with power
Cargo cross bars
Cargo cover
Running boards
Carpet mats
$32,176 = $34,528 OTD

Any help would be appreciated.

The prices are out the door, so it includes sales tax, and all doc fees.

I would check the american express car buying service at http://amexnetwork.zag.com/main.html. I'm currently looking at 4runner limited at $1800 below the postsd invoice - MSRP $43,477, Invoice $40,632, Selling price $38,832 ($4,645 off MSRP), OTD $40,643.

I quickly ran your first specs through and it appears cheaper. Good luck.

bbauters,

I would get the leather if possible, with children it is a whole lot easier to clean/keep clean.

I just bought my 5th 4 Runner, a 2011 Limited last month for $1200 over invoice and it was well worth it! I still have my 2007 SR5, but the NADA book doesn't seem to match what people are willing to pay for it. The salesman in VT was the most professional I've ever encountered and didn't mind paying more to avoid the thrashing back and forth.
