To answere my own question and for the sake of the 3 other 5 gen owners here apparently the 10+fj is more or less the same as the 10+ 4runner. I just installed the overland warehouse 2.0 lift (up to 3.5 front lift) along with light racing uca's. Tomorrow I'm getting my bfg 285 70 r17 she looks a little funny with stock tires. It did firm the suspension up nicely though

The 2.0 lift from overland warehouse is excellent. Firms up all the problem spots with the sr5 and rides nice on the road. I just what to mention somthing about the light racing uca's. The instruction say torque the uca to frame bolt to factory spec, 85 foot pounds. It does not mention that this needs to be done several times. The a-arm does not just set itself after an initial torque set. I've tightened it 8 different times and the ride has improved each time (after driving 20 plus miles).

An additional note, the rear radflo lift creates a lot of bushing noise from the 4 link. I plan on purchasing an adjustable panhard bar from sonoransteel to hopefully re-align the rear suspension. If you look at the rear of the vehicle it is apparent that the axle is pulled at least an inch over to the passenger side. Hopefully this will clear up the noise. I used one on my lifted 3rd gen. and was pleased with the ride in the rear (less of thump over bumps at speed).

Ok The poly bushing make a bit more noise than the stock set up but thats the nature of the beast (poly makes noise). Figured out my problem which once fixed, seriously improved the situation. I bought some bfg's from the toyota dealearship (believe it or not they were the cheapest around) and when they installed them they decided to tighten the rear shocks were they mount to the frame (top). They tightened them down so tight that they actually pushed the bushing out over the retaining washers.

So my shocks were bouncing around and started making the rear end rebound wierd. Overland Warehouse was great and sent me new ones right away I tightened them down properly and everythings great. Really really like OW. The dealearship service dept. can friggin morons.
