I'm new here and would just like to say hi to all you die-hard Corona fans! I thought I was the only one!
I previously owned a 1975 Corona 4 dr... loved it till the day the transmission went on it and had to part with it, due to no time/money/room to work on it...
Well about 15 years later, I now have an opportunity to pick up a 1966 corona (in need of a lot of TLC)... not sure how much I will offer the chap selling his lawn ornament, but I am thinking of the possibilities of this fine car.
Question, has anyone ever put a larger engine into a '66? I believe this particular one already has a 18R in it... anyone put a 20R or 22R into one? or (just talking crazy) thrown something like a supra engine into one? No idea if that is even possible (just dreaming out loud
)
