I have the automatic transmission with the tiptronic function. I tried tiptronic once or twice during the first few months I owned the vehicle, but rarely ever use it (only in winter when driving down a snowy hill).

When decerllerating, I just leave the transmission in drive and let the brake pedal and car do all the work. I pay attention to traffic and ease off on the gas long before I stop. I'm a pretty conservative driver, which is why my issue was so frustrating when I was going through it.

BTW-the transmission still feels good. Not one problem since my last post.
