The 1MZ and 3MZ in the Camry has always had a timing belt. The new 2GR has a timing chain.

To the OP - along with the timing belt and water pump, it's probably a good time to do general things like an oil change, air filter, cabin air filter, windshield wipers, and a transmission fluid drain/refill, if you haven't done those things recently. Keep in mind a lot of those things you can do at home and save $$ on labor.
