Question 98 Sienna - what after market cd changer best to use with OEM head unit?

I have posted this already on the Audio/Video forum, but got no replies. Maybe I should have posted here 1st.

My friend has just bought a 98 Sienna LE. It has an OEM head unit with CD changer control. The vehicle doesn't have steering wheel audio control.

I wanted to know some of the best brands (most compatible) after market cd changers to use with this head unit. Not interested in the RF models, only direct connections with proper changer controller if applicable.
Just need to get some idea of applications that have worked flawlessly.

By the way, who makes the OEM 6 disk changer for this vehicle? Is it Eclipse? I read somewhere that Eclipse changer with an adapter might be the best choice for and OEM integration. Is this true?

Thx for your help!

I also have a '98 Sienna LE with the same Head Unit. I'm trying to replace it with a JVC CD/MP3/WAV player, but I can't find a harness or wiring diagram so I can match the wiring. PLEEEASE HELP!!!!!

Your best bet for an aftermarket CD changer is an Eclipse model of changer, Eclipse is made by Fujitsu Ten. That is the only model that uses the same protocal as the Sienna
