Spare Tire - how to remove??

Hi,

I have a 2001 Sienna. I need to get the spare tire out, but don't know how. The spare is located under the car, near the rear bumper. I don't have a manual.

The lug wrench is in the right side compartment. Get that and look under the very rearmost floor mat, you should see a carpet flap, lift it and place the lug wrench on the bolt head you will see there. Then crank it out... this will lower the bracket that holds the rear end of the spare tire rack. When you get it low enough you can unclip the rack and it will hinge downward allowing you to remove the spare tire.
