grinding noise from timing area

at 60k exactly I did the belts and water pump. car runs great but recently at 66k there has been some griding noise constantly. sounds like metal on metal grinding and seems to be coming from the timing belt area. I replaced the no2 idler and tensioner(belt seemed a little loose). I checked the other tensioner with a mechanics stethescope and it seems fine. I cant find this noise. any ideas or suggestions. vehicle is a 2000 sienna by the way.

OMNI,

Sounds like you solved the problem by relacing one of the engine mounts.

Is this correct ?

I doubt it would be the cover, I pulled both covers off and ran the vehicle while listening and it still made the noise. it's a metal on metal noise. when checking for location with the stethescope, I placed it close to the idlers and could hear a faint spinning. placed it on the water pump and it was quiet. sound got louder when I placed it close to the power steering pump. I would consider that the belt is rubbing on something but they look fine around the edges. also the vehicle is quiet when first started cold but makes the noise when warmed up.
frank, I was stating that I removed that mount many times and was surprised that it cost that much to replace. I remove it to do the timing belt at 60k and a few times after to find this noise.

Could one of them be defective (I'm thinking of the tensioner as the prime suspect).
