2000 Sienna brake light fuse blowing

Hi,
I've got a 2000 sienna which has a malfunction in the brake lights; they don't work.
I've tried replacing the fuse, but it keeps blowing out???
What do you think the problem is?
Thanks

Check the wiring for shorts. If the rear door has a brake light installed look where the wiring harness jumps from the chassis to the door. This area can take a lot of abuse from opening and closing the door.

Check the plugs for the bulbs plus the bulb itself. On rare occasions the filament in a bulb can fail causing a short to anther circuit.

If the car has a trailer hitch wiring harness also look there.

If the fuse keeps blowing, check the wiring.

I found a slight pinch in the rear door brake light wire, but when i opened it up, it was fine.
Do you think it could also be the brake switch?

I also replaced the battery recently, so do you think that could also have something to do with it?

thanks again
