how to add power steering fluid (1998 Sienna)

I drive a 1998 Sienna with 160k clicks. When I checked power steering fluid container, level is below Cold Min. mark. I want to add more fluid to bring it upto the proper level. Do I need to flush existing fluid (brownish color) and add ATF Dex ii/iii or can I mix with existing fluid with ATF Dex ii/iii? what is the proper way to do this?

The lid on the PS fluid reservoir should have the fluid type, often this is Dexron III.

You can just add fluid to bring it up to the correct level, or use something like a turkey baster to remove the old fluid and replace with new.

my 99 sienna has regular power steering fluid. which i flushed with NAPA fluid.
both are same fluid one with dye (RED) one without.

make sure by pulling dip stick out and see that is regular fluid or transmission fluid.

Hope that helps.
