USA Please help with O2 sensor

Newbie here -

code tells me upstream O2 sensor has failed and need to replace. Toyota Dealer says it's the "bank 1 sensor 1" against the firewall (fun!) Can I replace with a Bosch sensor (part#13540) for $160, or do I have to pay my dealer $400 for parts and labor. I want to make sure the Bosch will reset the "check engine" light - Thank you!

I would prefer to use the DENSO replacement.....denso aftermarket website will list the crorret number..
As this sensor is used to adjust the air/fuel ratio.....used by the computer for critical engine operating parameters, I like to see the front and rear bank sensors be a closely matched in switching charactoristics as possible.
